A cabal of Mogis's cult fanatics have almost succeeded in finding a way to summon Mogis's warhound to their service.

The case is being handled by an old man in a robe and his dog

who are doing all they can in solving it

and are, when completely hammered, somewhat willing to share details.

The players heard the victim scream something, when the crime took place, that hinted at

a connection to another horrid crime committed not long ago
