You've heard that the village of Dunbrough is built near a Dead magic zone.. They are known for their salt production, and the settlement is protected by simple dirt ditch. Order is maintained by Godfrey, a cowardly Bard and the laws are enforced by village militia.

Entering the village proper you notice the poor conditions. The village folk go without the comforts available in a stable community.They can only offer simple food and lodgings, and threadbare clothing. Their unpredictable conditions result in a sufficient, though probably unpleasant, experience..

* Frederyk is a stubborn Priest/Priestess:. They have an unusual hair color, and leans on things. They made an enemy, the local magistrate by fleeing justice

* Rosamund Is the local smith. They come across as ignorant, have a distinctive nose, and gets easily lost in thought. They recently, had something wonderful occur,, the home town where they lived was destroyed, there was little loss of life. However, after the disaster passed, the area was rebuilt and has become more prosperous than ever before.

* Sevrin Is a corrupt Scribe. They have a distinctive nose, and grinds their teeth. They heard, A body was found dead near the edge of town. His pack included a map.

---The Tavern---
The Dancing Lamb is known for being a raucous dive. Isemeine the Innkeep, is cheerful. They are exceptionally ugly and uses curse words in place of certain words. They heard, Wizards and other magic folk are passing through town. Some "great alignment" going to happen next month and the best observation spot is to the west.

---Who Do You Meet---
Along with the usual locals inside you meet:
* Parnell is a High Priest. They are kind, have piercings, and mutters to themselves. They recently, was foraging or hunting for food, They had an encounter with a trapped predatory beast. Instead of slaying it, they freed it. The freed beast then disappeared. Later, they were trapped by a falling log. The same beast reappeared, aiding and freeing them.

* Casandra is a Forester. They are stubborn, wear flamboyant or outlandish clothes, and uses colorful oaths and exclamations. They recently, had something wonderful occur,, wild beasts invade their camp. During the attack, they discovered that they have the innate ability to command wild beasts (not monsters) (so long as it does not seriously risk the animals' lives).

---Food and Lodgings---
The tavern offers a nice bed in a common room for 1sp a night.
They offer watered down ale and the cook's speciality is Salted squirrel with bread.
