You've heard that the village of Brebie is built near a Field of petrified soldiers or other creatures.. They are known for their excellent vinyards, and the settlement is unprotected. Order is maintained by Tristan, a compassionate Scribe and the laws are enforced by a elder creature.

Entering the village proper you notice the poor conditions. The village folk go without the comforts available in a stable community.They can only offer simple food and lodgings, and threadbare clothing. Their unpredictable conditions result in a sufficient, though probably unpleasant, experience..

* Alaire is a bragging Priest/Priestess:. They are missing fingers, and gets easily lost in thought. They recently, was foraging or hunting for food, They had an encounter with a trapped predatory beast. Instead of slaying it, they freed it. The freed beast then disappeared. Later, they were trapped by a falling log. The same beast reappeared, aiding and freeing them.

* Folke Is the local smith. They come across as corrupt, wear ragged, dirty clothes, and is constantly sweaty. They heard, A wealthy halfling merchant is supposedly outfitting an ocean expedition.
